How it all started
TRECA, a hand-crafted tale that started back in 1935… TRECA was actually founded in 1922 by René Moritz and Julien Wurth in Reichshoffen, in the north-eastern region of Alsace, as “Tréfilerie et Câblerie” (wiring and cabling). With Victor Moritz at the helm, the brand started producing bedding with the invention of the first spring mattress on the French market in 1935.
In 1947, the Beaugency plant produced the first of the Impérial dynasty of mattresses.

As truly dainty cocoons, TRECA beds are manufactured with the utmost care to offer a level of comfort to cradle customer morphology and meet their expectations for a refreshing night’s sleep. Upholstery, natural or ground breaking materials and hand-sewn finishing all make TRECA a smart and prestigious brand.
